Peter Zook, LCSW, is a child and family therapist in Chicago with over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and parents through life’s challenges. Known for his perceptive and compassionate nature, Peter helps families navigate anxiety, identity development, relationship struggles, and life transitions with warmth and practical tools.
He earned his Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Temple University and has completed advanced training at UMass Chan Medical School, the Institute for Relational Psychoanalysis of Philadelphia, and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. He has studied Child-Centered Play Therapy and has completed Level One training in Theraplay® at Healing Space Therapy in Chicago.
Peter’s work is grounded in relational and evidence-based practices, and he is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where children and families feel understood. Learn more about his approach
