Gender Affirming Care
We’re here to listen, believe and trust your kid wherever they are in their relationship with their gender. Whether they are exploring new ways of expressing themselves, or they are seeking more medical care, we are here to support them, and the whole family, in finding a sense of comfort and confidence.
Safe Space For Support & Understanding
Gender affirming care sessions are centered around creating a space for kids to freely explore and express who they are. We know first-hand what it’s like to feel like you can’t open up to health care providers who don’t seem to get it, or who you feel might be judging you. No one has to worry about that here. We are to help guide and support your kiddo and your family.
We offer a space of acceptance and compassion. This is a place where kids can be their truest selves, feel seen, and be heard. In this supportive environment, we'll work together to foster well-being and figure out what are the right next steps to take. There’s never a rush or any should’s. As a leading provider of gender affirming care in Chicago we’re here to help when you need it.
Assessment Letters
Unfortunately, most health insurances and medical providers still require third-party endorsement for gender affirming medical procedures. We provide assessments and write letters according to WPATH standards of care for any upcoming medical services or legal document changes. We are not here to gate keep of anyone’s healthcare, therefore, these can be one-off sessions or ongoing as needed.
We also like to acknowledge the heightened need for privacy during these turbulent times politically. We make an effort to stay current on the safety and legality of what is necessary to document and report to protect our patients.
A Safe Place for Your Journey
No matter where your child is in their gender journey, we’re here to listen and support with care, understanding, and respect. Our team provides a compassionate space for kids and families to explore, express, and find the next right steps together. Reach out to connect with providers who truly get it.
